Depending on when you met me...
Depending on when you met me, I might have been… traveling cross country by bus when I was 20 with my beloved red-haired college roommate; playing violin with the New York Philharmonic as a member of the all-city orchestra when I was 13; in college getting in one of two cars when nine college buddies, on a whim, headed to Mardi Gras in New Orleans from Binghamton, NY; hiking Mount Washington and sleeping in a hut in the mountains of New Hampshire; traveling around the country to places like – Park City, Utah, Chicago, San Francisco, San Antonio, Denver, attending various Writing Project meetings; having the time of my life dancing at a recent Rolling Stones concert; birthing two amazing daughters three years apart; standing very close to the front of a Bruce Springsteen concert swaying to my favorite music; eating fudge and cheesy curly fries on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ with my lovely family.
These are lovely glimpses into your life.
ReplyDeleteA traveler, a musician, and a concert goer. Fun to get to know you better.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating post. You've done so many fun things in your life so far, glad to hear you've been to a Rolling Stones concert recently, and also up-close at a Springsteen concert. And this is such a great slice idea. I'm stealing it for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I finally found this. I missed it somehow in the TWT call for posts and couldn't trace your comment on my bog back to your blog! Oh my, college trip to Mardi Gras - bet that was a memory! You have been quite the traveler! Thank you for sharing your "ID" with us!
ReplyDeleteWhat a trip down memory lane and a wonderful way to share your sense of adventure and love of life. Sometimes we need to see this side of ourselves, especially I do when I feel stuck in my boring doldrum life!
