Six Word Memoir
Six Word Memoir: Story of a Travel Day
4:20 wake-up, 7AM flight, no sleep(!)
Florida arrival, 80-degree warmth (from 24)
Brunch outside: granola, fruit and yogurt
Walking path to beach, cerulean water
Swimming in hotel pool – sun-drenched freedom
Bougainvillea adorning the landscape, magenta beauty
Mediterranean dinner outside, tapas and wine
Toasting my daughters; time for bed.
I liked this slice! It was short and sweet, but I could envision it all in vivid detail.
ReplyDeleteWishing you more sun-splashed, colorful days ahead. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBeing a newbie, I am learning all sorts of things from other slicers. This format is also very intriguing. It feels like a series of snapshots, like looking a word-photo album, that document your one day so perfectly. Thanks for sharing...and sounds like you are having such a wonderful holiday. ReplyDeleteSun-drenched freedom! Oh how I love those words and I'm so happy for you! (And ok- jealous!)
