Unfortunately/ Fortunately
Unfortunately, no profound thoughts are coming my way
Fortunately, I eventually just write about something.
Unfortunately, all the topics I've considered do not inspire me today
Fortunately, I came upon this writing pattern from Elisabeth's blog.
Unfortunately, my cooking life is as uninspired as my writing life
Fortunately, I'm heading out to pick up subs for dinner.
Ha! I just read Elisabeth's version of this and plan to use this format too! I love the whimsical nature of your slice today. It made me smile! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt's harder to find subjects to inspire writing than it should be. Luckily, someone else can often spark an idea that makes an entire post appear out of thin air. The last two lines are giving me inspiration for dinner tonight.
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten about this structure. Thanks for the reminder. Elisabeth's blog is filled with great ideas. I recall doing a slice like this in a past challenge. I'm going to add it to my lost of ideas for when I'm stuck. Thanks for the reminder and I hope you enjoyed the subs.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, that *is* an excellent pattern, particularly how it forces us to think differently as writers. Unfortunately, this challenge will continue looming before us for several days. Fortunately, we're resourceful -- as you just demonstrated.
ReplyDeleteI love patterns, and this one is great for writing. Thank you 🙂
ReplyDeleteThis structure is awesome and does show a slice of your current thinking and your day! Some days are just like that- but I think the daily writing keeps the muscle strong and prepares for the days when inspiration is ready to flow.
