A Welcome Surprise

I did not go in search of Spring.

I just needed a walk after a very long day

I was tired and wasn’t even searching for a story

But there it was. 

Pansies have been planted since I’ve been away!

In more than one garden…

Girls’ bicycles were left in front of a house

Where a group of girls were climbing a bare tree.

Birds were out in full force, chirping loudly

And a lone robin was flying low.

I did not go in search of Spring

But there it was.
