Gender Reveal - Take 2!

Gender Reveal!

This morning started with wonderful news!

My daughter and her husband were facetiming us at 8:30 this morning (old time).

Do you want to hear the sex of the baby? Is daddy awake?” She sounded happy.

“Oh my goodness! Daddy’s upstairs. I’ll get him.”

“Drum roll…” she said. “It’s a boy!”

                                       * * * * * * * * * * * 

Wow. It’s so shocking – whatever sex it is (!) That’s it. It’s just so conclusive.  My younger daughter is having her first baby, and it’s a boy!

We spent last weekend together, my daughter and I, in Miami on a quick girls’ trip, watching the little boys and girls in the pool and around the pool. We talked about the many differences and the merits of having boys or girls. Of course, we both agreed that the most important thing is that it’s healthy.

And now we know that my “little tiny” as I call her, is having a “little tiny” boy of her own!

Gender Reveal, Take 2

Yesterday, when I wrote my blog post, I had just found out that my pregnant younger daughter is going to have a baby boy. We were shocked and thrilled at the same time. It is her first. 

What I didn’t find out until the end of the day is that my older daughter also got the results regarding her baby’s sex, a few hours later. My daughters are pregnant at the same time and are expecting within 2 weeks of each other! My older daughter already has a 14-month-old baby boy named Noah.

And now for my second drumroll in 2 days… My older daughter is also having a boy! There will be 3 little baby boys here on Thanksgiving (hopefully). 

Coming from a family of girls, it should be quite interesting.
