Here's to March and a Stolen Weekend

A new month has arrived! I’m ready. As we have trudged through a freezing cold snow-filled December, January and February in New York, I am ready to embrace the route to warmer months ahead. March ushers in a return to daylight savings time, the dawning of early spring pansies, hyacinths and daffodils, and the optimism that spring brings.

I am actually in Miami Beach, Florida right now, at the end of a stolen long weekend away with my lovely daughter. Our flight leaves tonight. It is a bit past noon, and we are sitting by a luscious, large pool. Iffy weather here. It could storm any minute, or the sun could win out. A chilly breeze dominates this otherwise 77 degree day.
